The School Council at The Grove Junior School works very hard. Two school councillors are elected from each class to represent the views of the other children in their class. The Year 6 councillors send out a meeting agenda in advance. The agenda is taken from issues arising from the previous meeting, the school suggestion box and any other business. Year 6 will also chair the meeting and take the minutes. Each class has a folder and notebook so the school councillors can take notes and feedback to the rest of the class. Meetings are held once a fortnight.

Year 5~     Acacia: James and Isabelle

Year 6~     Redwood: Ellie and Bertie
                Acer: Hannah and Mark

The School Council are visiting Beech Hill School in Luton next month. This is a return visit to find out about another school, and will be really exciting for all the children involved.
